Canyon Grille Press Release
August 5, 2024 We are pleased to announce that Canyon Grille has exciting changes in the works. Effective August 1, a new ownership group was put in place. Mr. Haythem Dawlett’s organization continues to be involved, but day-to-day management was handed over to a new management group, Bay Cuisine, based in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.
Many of you may already be familiar with the Bay Cuisine family of businesses. They own and operate Bayside Fresh Market, Bay View Restaurant & Bar, and Bay Kitchens Catering in the Horseshoe Bay/Marble Falls area. Their culinary management team has over 150 years of combined experience in the restaurant business and a laser focus on delivering quality food, exceptional service, and an enjoyable atmosphere. Bay View Restaurant & Bar just received 13 Gold Medals from the Hill Country residents for their food and service, ranging from Best Overall Restaurant to Best Margarita, in a survey conducted by The Highlander, the newspaper covering their service area.
The new management team for Canyon Grille is focused on improving the restaurant’s operations and atmosphere. A new point-of-sale system was already installed that allows servers to submit orders to the bar and kitchen and allows customers to pay directly at the table from our new handheld devices. This will provide speedier and more accurate orders for the guests.
The menu and previously offered specials will also be updated. Beginning August 1, a new wine program was established with new, more popular wines added to the list. In addition, the bottle pricing will be among the most competitive in the area with everyday low pricing instead of just a special offer one night of the week. This will allow guests to enjoy delicious wines at a fair price every day. Canyon Grille will continue to offer Happy Hour Specials during the week.
Following shortly, there will be a revised food and cocktail menu with several new entrees, additional specialty cocktails, and soon there will even be poolside service.
Many of the same faces will remain on the new team. Chef Alex Foreman will serve as the Executive Chef for Canyon Grille and Eric Von Witbeck will be the General Manager. We encourage you to visit often and to enjoy and support this fine amenity in our beautiful neighborhood.
Two special notes to remember: 1) To enjoy your Rough Hollow Member Discount you will be REQUIRED to present your FOB at the restaurant just as you are required to have it to enter other facilities within the neighborhood. 2) Gift Cards issued by the previous ownership group will be honored.
